Hanoi Autumn Festival promotes unique cultural, tourism values

The Hanoi Autumn Festival, the first of its kind, was held to promote the city’s tourism sites and products and attract travelers to the capital.

The event took place under the theme “Come to Fall in Love in 2023” in the Hoan Kiem Pedestrian Zone from September 29 to October 1.

Through 150 booths, the festival introduced Hanoi’s tourism sites, such as the Long Bien Bridge, the Hanoi Old Quarter, and the Me Linh flower village, as well as typical food and handicrafts in the capital city.

The highlight of the event is the Culinary Space, introducing a variety of Cốm products (young sticky rice flakes), Bún, Phở (Vietnamese noodle soup), and other culinary pleasures of the city.

Numerous activities were held during the event for tourists to experience Vietnamese culture.

According to the organizers, the Hanoi Autumn Festival takes place in the best season of the year. The city’s tourism industry is exploiting the beauty of Hanoi in autumn to attract not only domestic but also foreign tourists./.
