Goodwill ambassadors of the Earth Hour, launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), presented awards of the “For a Green Earth” contest to students in seven secondary schools in Hanoi on March 24.
Twenty-five children from the sixth to ninth grade have been selected at each school for the awards for their writings on the impacts of climate change, solutions to save energy and keep the earth green and clean.
Twenty Vietnamese localities will, together with other cities and regions throughout the world, switch their lights off for the Earth Hour from 8:30 to 9:30 pm on March 27./.
