The "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" programme kicked off in Nguyen Hue Pedestrian street in the southern metromolis on August 23.
The 3-day event serves as an opportunity for the two cities to review the nation's heroic history, and share and promote the unique culture, potential, and people of each locality to the public and tourists.
The event is expected to further strengthen sustainable cooperation between the two localities, and contribute to maximising their potential and strengths and affirming their role as the two leading economic centres of the country.
