The two sides agreed tocreate a favourable living environment by developing human resources andeducation, raising people’s awareness and exchanging specialisedtechnology and experience.
They also concurred witheach other to enhance cooperation and exchange activities betweenyounger generations as well as those between business communities and inculture.
At their meeting, Chairman Thao said thatin the past years, the two localities have seen an array of projects andevents to further bilateral ties, leaving a number of practicaleffects.
He voiced his hope that Hanoi andFukuoka will boost their cooperation and investment in trade andtourism as well as the exchange of experience in building management anddevelopment policies in the coming time.
For hispart, the Japanese guest also expressed his expectation that both sideswill tighten relations to reinforce business, tourism and studyexchanges.
He noted that the prefecture will host“Fukuoka Days in Hanoi” from August 29-31 to popularise its image,culture and industries to Hanoians. An exhibition will also be held toencourage Vietnamese students to study in Fukuoka.-VNA
