The Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station metro line starts from Nhon in Nam Tu Liem district and ends at Hanoi Railway Station in Dong Da district. The metro line with a length of 12.5 km has eight elevated stations and four underground ones. (Photo: VNA)
The designed maximum speed of the trains is 80km per hour. But in reality, it is hard for them to run at the speed because the distance between two stations is only around 1km, according to the Metropolitan Railway Management Board.
The trial run at the maximum speed is important to examine quality of the trains and assess the line’s safety. (Photo: VNA)
