Hanoi to shorten processing time for construction procedures

Hanoi will shorten the time taken to process applications and grant construction permits from 166 days at present to no longer than 120 days in line with the Prime Minister’s Instructive 08/CT-TTg dated March 13 this year.

Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi will shorten the time taken to processapplications and grant construction permits from 166 days at present to nolonger than 120 days in line with the Prime Minister’s Instructive 08/CT-TTgdated March 13 this year. 

The municipal People’s Committee has assigned the Department ofConstruction to review construction-related procedures and make proposals onways to achieve the target and report to the municipal People’s Committeebefore June 20.

The People’s Committee also instructed local administrations, agenciesand sectors to quickly review the process of related procedures under theirmanagement such as granting land use certificate, supplying electricity andwater and assessing fire prevention of buildings with a view to reduce theprocessing time. 

Accordingly, the city’s electricity and water supply companies shouldwork to reduce the time for electricity and water connection from 14 days tonot more than 7 days.

The Hanoi Fire Fighting and Prevention Police is required to cut thetime for evaluating fire prevention schemes of construction works from 30 daysto 20 days at most.

The People’s Committees of districts, wards and towns are instructed toreview construction-related procedures within their power with a view toshortening the time taken to complete them. 

The municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment isrequired to work to shorten the time for granting land use certificates andland-related property ownership certificates from 30 days to 20 days at most.

All relevant departments, agencies and sectors must report the pace oftheir work to the Department of Construction before June 15.-VNA

Phu Quoc launches English classes for vendors, drivers ahead of APEC 2027

An Giang takes zero-tolerance approach to IUU fishing

Singer, media executive charged over YouTube music copyright infringement
