Hanoi, Vientiane youth strengthen cooperation

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) of Hanoi opened a fortnight course for 20 Vientiane youth cadres of Laos in Hanoi on July 12.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) of Hanoi opened a fortnight course for 20 Vientiane youth cadres of Laos in Hanoi on July 12.

The course, the second of its kind, is part of the cooperation programme between the two cities’ youth.

During the course, the students will become familiar with Ho Chi Minh vanguard youth and its cadres’ important role and position in school besides practising basic HCM vanguard youth’s leadership skills and having an important exchange with Hanoi ’s youth.

On this occasion, the HCMCYU of Hanoi also sent its delegation to take part in voluntary activities in Sai Phong district of Vientiane.

While in the district from July 19-28, Hanoi’s youth will offer medical checks-up and medicine and visit families of social beneficiaries and disadvantaged families, guide local people in preventing epidemics and accidents and distribute information about the upcoming celebrations of the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and the cooperative relationship between the two parties and peoples./.
