Hanoi’s products showcased at Africa’s largest exhibition

The presence of the Vietnam’s capitalin SAITEX 2013, the largest multi-sectoral fair in Africa, aims topromote trade and exports to Africa in general and South Africa inparticular.

The Hanoi booth has attracted agreat number of visitors who are interested in soy-bean oil, motorcyclesand products from buffalo horns.

“Visitors’attention shows that those products can well penetrate into the Africanmarket,” said Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry andTrade Nguyen Van Dong

According to John Thomson -Managing Director of the South Africa ’s Exhibition ManagementServices, SAITEX 2013, which opened on June 30, is the largest of itskind held so far with more than 1,000 companies from 45 countriesparticipating in.

The three-day annual event, whichbridges producers, exporters, importers and distributors of consumergoods, is expected to draw over 15,000 turns of visitors.-VNA

Vietnam’s digital map updates 34 provincial-level administrative units

An 1:1,000,000-scale administrative map of Vietnam online and in digital *.pdf format will be released once the National Assembly’s Resolution on the reorganisation of provincial-level administrative units in 2025 takes effect in oder to promptly support the Prime Minister’s direction and administration, support state management by ministries, sectors, and localities; and meet requirements of organisations and individuals.
