Hanoi’s students pray for good luck before the national high school graduation exam

Due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, from May 3rd, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam has been temporarily closed. So parents and students coming here can oly bow from the gate, display offerings and burn incense outside.

Only 2 more days until the national high school graduation exam will take place. Before “G hour”, many parents and students in Hanoi go to the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam)  to pray for high scores and good luck on the upcoming exam.

Considered as the first university of our country, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam has become a familiar destination for thousands of students before each exam season. Apart from the Temple of Literature, the students also choose other spiritual destinations to pray for luck.
