HCM City (VNA) – A high-ranking delegation of theHo Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Committee, People’s Council andVietnam Fatherland Front on April 28 paid homage to fallen soldiers at localmartyrs’ cemeteries on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Liberationof South Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30), and the 136th May Day.
The delegation was led by Secretary of the municipal PartyCommittee Nguyen Van Nen.
The same day, the city’s leading officials and local residents paid tribute to late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang.
A high-ranking delegation of the city offered incense andflowers at the Ben Duoc Monument for Heroic Martyrs in Cu Chi district.
