HCM City to host Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Champs

Athletes from 27 countries and territories will compete at the 47th Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, which is scheduled to kick off in Ho Chi Minh City on August 30.

Athletes from 27countries and territories will compete at the 47th Asian Bodybuildingand Fitness Championship, which is scheduled to kick off in Ho ChiMinh City on August 30.

Around 350 male andfemale competitors from Vietnam, China, India, Japan andThailand, among others, will vie for 36 sets of medals inbodybuilding and physique categories.

Vietnamesehopefuls such as Pham Van Mach, Nguyen Van Lam, Kim Loan and My Linhstand a great chance to show off their muscles against regional rivals.

The annual tournament will enable athletes to gainvaluable experience and sharpen their skills in preparation for theforthcoming 27th SEA Games in Myanmar this December.-VNA
