HCM City to promote links with Slovak localities

Ho Chi Minh City will embrace its connection with Slovak localities in the coming time and enhance bilateral cooperation in justice, education-training, science, technology and industry.

The city encourages and will create conditions for Slovak firms to dobusiness in the city, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s CommitteeTat Thanh Cang told Slovak Minister of Justice Tomas Borec at a meetingin HCM City on March 17.

The guest said Slovakiais willing to share its experience in judicial reform and legal systemimprovement for Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

He added that Vietnam and Slovakia are witnessing soundcooperation in various fields such as energy, petrochemistry andmilitary technical.

He said he hopes the twocountries will promote the bilateral traditional friendship in thefuture and focus on building and developing cooperation betweenlocalities.-VNA

Hanoi's National Assembly deputies urged to fulfill commitments to voters

In the third quarter of 2026, Hanoi recorded a strong breakthrough, with growth of 10.02%, exceeding the national rate of 9.95%. This marked the first time the city had achieved double-digit growth this year and its highest quarterly growth rate. Its GRDP growth in the first nine months was estimated at 8.85%, up from 7.92% in the same period of 2025.
