Among the crowds of visitors in Sa Pa district in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai in the early days of 2018, many chose to stay at the homes of local ethnic minority people to experience the unique culture first-hand.
Muong Hoa, Vietnam’s longest mountain rail route developed by Sun Group, was opened on March 31, connecting Sa Pa Town and the existing cable station to Fansipan Peak.
Ta Lien Son forest is at an altitude of 2,993m above seawater level. Located in Ta Leng commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province, it is one of the primeval forests in the Hoang Lien Son range.
Sa Pa town in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai welcomed more than 77,000 visitors in the nine-day Lunar New Year holiday from February 2-10, up 17 percent over the same time in 2018, including 7,600 foreign tourists.
