Indonesia arrests 16-year-old terrorist suspect

Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesian National Police's Densus 88 counterterrorism
squad have arrested a 16-year-old boy terrorist suspect in Merapi Subur housing
complex in Batam, Riau Islands.
Head of the police unit in charge of the housing complex, Adip
Kurniawan, said the suspect is the eldest of two siblings and the family had
just rented the house in March.
Meanwhile, Riau Islands Police chief inspector General Aris
Budiman confirmed the arrest during his inspection of Idul Fitri holiday
security.
He revealed that the security in Riau Islands and Batam is still under
control./.
