Eight Indonesian state enterprises are interested in doing business inVietnam by establishing cooperation with local companies or throughinvestment, ANTARA News has reported.
The eight state-ownedcompanies are coal mining company PT Bukit Asam, fertilizer company PTPupuk Indonesia, telecommunication company PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia,aircraft manufacturer PT Dirgantara Indonesia, cement company PT SemenIndonesia, pharmaceutical company PT Kimia Farma, logistics agency PerumBulog and oil and gas company PT Pertamina.
PT Bukit Asam willsupply coal to Vietnam’s power plants, and PT Kimia Farma willestablish cooperation with Vietnamese pharmaceutical company.
PT Telkom will join a Vietnamese telecommunication company in developing international-scale projects.
Cooperation between Bulog and Vietnam is necessary for Indonesia tomeet its rice demands in case of drought that could reduce the domesticrice production.-VNA
