The Vietnamese and Lao Parties’ Commissions of Inspection are currentlyholding talks and a friendship exchange in the central province ofNghe An.
The event brought together the head ofthe Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Commission forInspection Ngo Van Du and the Chairman of the Lao People’s RevolutionaryParty Central Committee (LPRPCC) Inspection Commission BunthongChitmany.
It takes place as both parties,governments and peoples are about to celebrate the 35 years since theysigned their Friendship and Cooperation Treaty and their 50 thanniversary of diplomatic ties. The event has vividly reflected thespecial solidarity and relationship that both countries share.
At the event, Du and Chitmany agreed that the talks and exchange willcontribute significantly to strengthening the traditional friendship andcomprehensive cooperation between both countries.
Over the past few years, the two commissions have been working closelytogether to carry out their cooperation programmes, while stepping upthe exchange of delegations. They have been sharing theoretical andpractical issues and their experiences in party building, inspections,supervisions and personnel training.
To mark theoccasion, the two commissions laid a wreath at the Statue of Uncle Ho inHo Chi Minh Square in Vinh City and offered incense to the latePresident at the alter in Kim Lien village in Nam Dan province, where hewas from.-VNA
