Nearly 100 universities and educational centres from 12 countries and territories worldwide are attending a three-day exhibition on education and carrers which opened on April 8 in Ho Chi Minh City .
The event is being jointly held by Vietnam’s National Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad) and Singapore’s IIR Exhibition Pte. Ltd. under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education and Training.
It is aimed at bringing about numerous opportunities for Vietnamese students to study abroad by setting up relations among schools in Vietnam with foreign participants from Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, the UK, the US and Hong Kong.
At the exhibition, educational and scholarship programmes of the participating educational institutions will be displayed in 150 pavilions.
Some 30 symposia on scholarships, overseas study and vocational guidance will take place within the framework of the event with the participation of banks, who want to provide credit to overseas students./.
