On the occasion of the traditional Tet (Lunar New Year), Israeli Ambassador Nadav Eshcar made a music video (MV) on the song “Ngày Tết quê em" (A day of New Year in my hometown) as a greeting sent to Vietnamese people.

In the MV, the ambassador performed the song in Vietnamese with his chauffeur Nguyen Luong.

Ambassador Eshcar visited beautiful places in Hanoi such as Quang An flower market, Tran Quoc pagoda, and Hang Ma street.

He drank iced tea and cut his hair on the sidewalk. The special part is when the ambassador sang a part of the song in Hebrew.

This is the 5th and last Tet of the ambassador in Vietnam, so he wants to give the Vietnamese people a special gift.

During the past Tet holidays, he has made banh chung with Vietnamese children, written calligraphy in Ong Do street, and learned how to make ao dai or to make tea on Tet.

He loves Vietnamese culture and is willing to learn the customs, whether on Tet or not. The ambassador likes Vietnamese customs and traditions and he follows an old saying when in Rome, do as the Romans do./.
