An agreement to this effect was signed at a ceremony in Hanoi on October 8.
Under the agreement, the money will be used to build a new school witheight classrooms, to replace the severely dilapidated Nguyen Thi MinhKhai primary school in Tra Doc commune, Bac Tra My district.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Charge d’Affaires at the JapaneseEmbassy in Vietnam Hideo Suzuki said he hoped that the new school willenable the local pupils to study in a much better environment that ismore conducive to learning.
It will also help enhance the friendship and mutual understanding that both countries share, he added.-VNA
