The Jestar Pacific Airlines (JPA) on January 13 pledged to fulfil all required steps on craft maintenance and recruit more foreign experts on technical quality to ensure flight safety.

The joint-stock company said getting informed of the CAAV’s preliminary conclusion, it has instantly taken a series of measures to ensure flight safety and improve the quality of craft maintenance.
JPA added it has rushed in reviewing, scrutinising and evaluating the maintenance work in line with Maintenance Management Organisation Exposition (MMOE) guidelines.
The company has appointed a foreign expert as Deputy Director of Technical Quality to help the Vietnamese Technical Director in the transition period. Additionally, the technical quality department staff has been strengthened with a number of experienced engineers and foreign experts under the CAAV’s demand.
JPA also committed to fully following recommendations and requirements raised by the CAAV in the inspectors’ conclusion.
“With all measures on flight safety being and will be taken by the company and under the tight supervision and regular monitoring by the CAAV, the JPA guarantees high safety for all flights it conducts,” it concluded./.
