Kuwait Fund provides loans to Dien Bien road project

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development will provide 14 million USD in loans to the Cha To-Muong Tung road project in the northern mountainous province of Dien Bien .
The Kuwait Fund for Arab EconomicDevelopment will provide 14 million USD in loans to the Cha To-MuongTung road project in the northern mountainous province of Dien Bien .

An agreement to the effect was signed in Hanoi on March 12 by FinanceDeputy Minister Tran Xuan Ha and the fund’s Deputy Director-GeneralHesham Al-Waqayan.

Through the fund, the Kuwait State has provided loans worth 34 millionKuwaiti dinars (124 million USD) to eight projects in Vietnam .

The loans are focused on small irrigation and traffic works in poorprovinces. The Dau Tieng and Van Dinh irrigation projects and the DacTa-Ngoc Linh road projects have been put into operation./.

Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.

Under a draft decree replacing Decree 63, authorities will have to proactively pull information from databases and records for informational or technical procedures. Applicants would no longer be required to resubmit documents, and certification or information requests could not be turned into discretionary licensing through an “ask – give” mechanism.
