The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong will see 86 residents, including 30 ethnics, turn 100 years old in 2015.
Fifty-six of the centenarians, including 63 women and 23 men, are Kinh people, the majority ethnic group in Vietnam. Another 21 are from the K’Ho group while seven are from the Cil, and the rest two come from the Tay.
The resort city of Da Lat has the most number of new centenarians with 19 people, followed by Di Linh district with 17 people.
