relations of the Lao and Vietnamese people to mark the 62nd
anniversary of Vietnam’s sending voluntary troops to help in Laos'

The article on the August 3 issue stressed contributions and assistance by the Vietnamese voluntary troops and military experts who stood shoulders-to-shoulder with the Lao people to overcome all difficulties and challenges to win the final victory.
The article recalled glorious feasts of arms made by the Vietnamese volunteers and Lao people in major campaigns in Sam Neua, central and southern Laos , as well as their contributions to mass mobilisation and production.
It praised the Vietnamese voluntary troops’ international proletarian spirit as well as the sacrifice of the Vietnamese and Lao troops and people for national independence, for victory of the revolution and for prosperity of both countries./.
