Late President Ho Chi Minh’s birth anniversary marked in Spain

The Embassy of Vietnam in Spain recently celebrated the 129th birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890), the 50th anniversary of the implementation of his will (1969), and the 42nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Spain (May 23, 1977).

The Embassy of Vietnam inSpain recently celebrated the 129th birth anniversary of late President Ho ChiMinh (May 19, 1890), the 50th anniversary of the implementation of his will(1969), and the 42nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic tiesbetween Vietnam and Spain (May 23, 1977).

The embassy also had an exchange activity with Spanishfamilies adopting Vietnamese children.

After offering incense to commemorate the lateleader at the embassy in Madrid, Ambassador Ngo Tien Dung highlighted thePresident’s significant contributions to the national revolution and liberationas well as the core values of his ideology in his will.

The diplomat highly valued the role of Spanishfamilies adopting Vietnamese children, believing this will be important forcesto help promote the multifaceted cooperation and people-to-people exchangesbetween Vietnam and Spain.

Chairman of the “bridge association with Vietnam”Angel Lopez said his association will continue serving as a bridge to boost thetwo countries’ relations while increasing knowledge about Vietnamese culture tochildren as well as opening more classes teaching Vietnamese language.

Over the past 20 years, nearly 2,000 familiesacross Spanish localities have adopted Vietnamese children.-VNA

Second government legislation meeting reviews draft bills

In his opening speech, PM Pham Minh Chinh revealed the Government’s plan to submit 63 documents and reports to the 15th NA’s 9th session, including 37 draft laws and regulatory resolutions, all aimed at having a wide-ranging impact on society. Earlier this month, feedback was provided on six other draft laws and resolutions.

PM urges spread of emulation movements to inspire national pride

Commendation must be objective, transparent, and merit-based, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stressed, noting that legal documents guiding the enforcement of the Law on Emulation and Commendation are nearly complete, ensuring effective enforcement across ministries, agencies, and localities.
