– Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the southern province of Dong Nai to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Transport, investors, and relevant agencies in building, assessing, and completing the feasibility report on the Long Thanh International Airport project.

Joint efforts should be made to successfully implement the project’s plans, covering bomb and mine clearance, land clearance, and the building of traffic routes to serve construction, he said.

Long Thanh International Airport has a total area of more than 5,580 ha, spread across six communes in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. It is set to have a total investment of 336.63 trillion VND (14.8 billion USD), with construction divided into three phases.
