Ly Son Island releases prawn fry into sea

Ly Son Island district of the central coastal province of QuangNgai has released one million tiger prawn fry into the sea, accordingto the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The activity aims to enhance local people’s awareness about the need to develop seafood resource.

The fry are supplied by the Duc Pho farm under the provincial aquatic breeding centre.

Quang Ngai’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has alsocooperated with other districts to set free fish fry in large reservoirssuch as Ba Lien, Ton Dung and Liet Son.-VNA
