Hanoi (VNA) - Malaysia's Malindo Air on September 2 officially launched a direct route connecting Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur with flight OD572, meeting high travel demand from the two countries.
The OD572 flight takes off at 12.15pm in Hanoi and lands at 4.35pm in Kuala Lumpur, and the OD571 flight from Kuala Lumpur departs at 9.15am in Kuala Lumpur and arrives in Hanoi at 11.15am every day.
The route is served by a 162-seat Boeing 737-800 ER aircraft. A round-trip ticket costs 140 USD for economy class and 445 USD for business class.
With the new route, Malindo Air has connected Malaysian localities with 40 destinations in 13 countries around the world.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam Zamruni Khalid said frequent flight connectivity between Kuala Lumpur and Vietnam is expected to boost tourism and strengthen ties between the two countries.-VNA
