Maritime Bank will provide the Ascendas-Protrade Ltd Co. with a loan worth 25 million USD to develop an environmentally friendly tech-park in the southern province of Binh Duong .
Under the agreement signed on June 28, Maritime Bank’s loan will be used for the first and second phases of the Singapore Ascendas-Protrade Tech Park (APSTP), which is estimated to cost 150 million USD in total.
The project is developed by the Ascendas-Protrade Ltd. Co, which is partnered by the Singaporean Ascendas group and the Binh Duong Import-Export Company (Protrade).
As preparations of the first and second phases already completed, construction work on infrastructural facilities of the APSTP is expected to kick off late this year.
Covering over 500ha in An Tay commune, Ben Cat district, the APSTP will house businesses in lighting, food and beverage, electronics, and pharmaceutical industries and healthcare service.
It is part of the 1,350ha An Tay Service-Industry Complex, which will also have office buildings and recreational facilities./.
