Maritime tourists visit southern provinces
Saigontourist Travel Service Company welcomed 950 foreign visitors and
crew aboard the cruise ships Amadea of Germany and Saga Ruby of the UK
to Ho Chi Minh City on March 27.

to Ho Chi Minh City on March 27.
This is the first time the cruise ships have arrived in Vietnam for sightseeing tours at popular sites in the southern provinces.
After docking at Saigon Port , the UK holidaymakers will visit some famous sites such as Duc Ba church, Cho Lon market, Cu Chi tunnels and My Tho city of Tien Giang province.
Apart from visiting the same sites, visitors from the Amadea will tour Vinh Trang pagoda in My Tho city; enjoy water puppets and traditional music performances and shop in Ben Thanh market in Ho Chi Minh City .
They will also have a chance to go sightseeing and enjoy fruit in Lai Thieu, a region famous for orchards in Binh Duong province, only 20 km from HCM City .
Saigontourist expects to receive the Portuguese cruise liner, Princess Daphne to Vietnam on the sea route of Ha Long-Da Nang-Nha Trang-Saigon in April this year.-VNA
