Microsoft office specialist competition launched in Vietnam

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Education andTraining Bui Van Ga said the MOSWC is a healthy and practicalplayground for Vietnamese students and encouraged them to study andenhance their IT proficiency.

The increasing numbers ofcompetitors demonstrates the competition’s the practicability andimportance to human resources development in the country’s IT sector, headded.

At the competition, contestants will take the MOS exam –a proficiency test on Microsoft Office software skills, including Word2010, Excel 2010 and PowerPoint 2010.

The fifty best performers from each category will secure a berth in the National Final with the MOS Expert and Scenario tests.

Thetop three scorers of the national competition from the three categorieswill be honoured as Vietnam’s MOS Ambassadors and represent the countryto compete in the World Finals in Dallas, Texas, the US, on August9-12, 2015.

The MOSWC is the world’s largest competition on Microsoft Office skills, spanning over 100 countries.
In Vietnam, it has now become the biggest national scale world classcomputer proficiency competition, reaching out to all of the 63provinces and municipalities nationwide.-VNA
