Hanoi (VNA) – Permanent members of the National Steering Committee forCOVID-19 Prevention and Control has asked the Health Ministry to soon completethe closed management process for immigrants to Vietnam.
During a meeting on June 8 chaired by Deputy PrimeMinister Vu Duc Dam, who is also head of the steering committee, they listened to reports on turning the receptionof experts and overseas Vietnamese into a closed process as directed by thePrime Minister and the committee.
Participants called for making clear theresponsibility of concerned units in following prevention and control regulations, and raising awarenessof ensuring the community safety among immigrants. As planned, immigrants willbe divided into different groups.
They shared the view that if things areunder control, the pandemic will be basically curbed but several cases in thecommunity are likely to appear.
They also urged relevant forces to stayvigilant and ready to combat the pandemic./.
