The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST) was due to launch a series of activities abroad this year to further promote Vietnam’s culture to the world.
It will organise a Vietnam Week programme in Laos, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Algeria and Morocco and take part in a tours festival and a Vietnam Month event in Lorient (France).
The MoCST looks to attend the Asian intangible cultural arts festival in China and culture and tourism festivals in Japan and the Republic of Korea.
The ministry said it encourages businesses and donors to join in this tourism promotion programme./.
