- National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue held talks with President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina Cecilia Moreau on April 24 morning (local time), during which the two sides agreed to promote the exchange of visits on all channels; coordinate in organising meaningful activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations; effectively implement cooperation agreements and promote collaboration in agriculture, economy-trade, science-technology, education, tourism, sports and culture. - A new stamp collection of modern cable cars in Vietnam has been issued by the Vietnam Post Corporation under the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The collection features plenty of cable cars from across the country, including Fansipan cable cars in the northern province of Lao Cai, Ba Na cable cars in the central city of Da Nang, and Hon Thom cable cars in the southern province of Kien Giang. Read full story

- “Van nghe thang Muoi” (October Art) club, a major and active cultural and art organisation of the Vietnamese community in Berlin, held its seventh congress to elect a new executive committee and sketch out its plans in the time to come.

Participants agreed that over the past 12 years since its establishment, the club has organised dozens of art programmes, along with events to introduce the traditional costumes, musical instruments and culinary culture of Vietnam, thus maintaining and promoting the national traditions and culture.
