- President To Lam expressed his delight at the strong development of the Vietnam - New Zealand strategic partnership over the past years while hosting a reception in Hanoi on July 4 for newly-appointed New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Caroline Beresford.

President Lam highlighted the significance of 2025 which marks the 50th founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 5th anniversary of the Vietnam - New Zealand strategic partnership and is considered as an opportunity for the two nations to plan meaningful activities, including high-level visits, to solidify cooperation across all areas and propel the relationship to a new height. - The Vietnamese Party and State always attach great importance to developing traditional friendship with the Mongolian People's Party and the State of Mongolia, Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen told General Secretary of the ruling MPP Yangug Sodbaatar in Ulaanbaatar on July 4.

- Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Khac Dinh and his Lao counterpart Chaleun Yiapaoher co-chaired a symposium on Constitution revision in Vientiane on July 4.

Speaking at the event, Dinh affirmed that the Constitution is a political and legal document, a fundamental law, and a root legislation of each country. It is enacted to record the achievements of a country's struggles for noble values and for national independence and self-reliance, assert the sovereignty of the people, guarantee human rights and social justice, and define forms and mechanisms of operation of each state entity. - A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung is attending the ASEAN – China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and Housing (ACMROCH) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from July 3 to 5.
