- Party General Secretary To Lam on October 24 suggested Vietnamese and Chinese armies strengthen their cooperation, at a reception for Senior Lieutenant General Zhang Youxia, Politburo member and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

The Party chief said the Vietnam visit by Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul comes amid the strong growth of the relationship between the two countries, which recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties and are looking ahead to the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership in 2025. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council, on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit in Kazan city of Russia on October 24.

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has affirmed Vietnam's commitment to fostering relations with traditional friends, including Uzbekistan, at his meeting with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Kazan, Russia, on October 24 (local time) on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit.

-Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with President of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit in Kazan city of Russia on October 24 afternoon (local time).

- Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang highlighted defence cooperation as an important pillar of the Vietnam-China relations and suggested enhancing the collaboration, at his talks with visiting Senior Lieutenant General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China on October 24.
