- Party General Secretary To Lam on October 24 suggested Vietnamese and Chinese armies strengthen their cooperation, at a reception for Senior Lieutenant General Zhang Youxia, Politburo member and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

Lam, also Secretary of the Central Military Commission of Vietnam, highly valued the significance of Zhang’s visit to the implementation of the common perceptions reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and countries, as well as its contribution to the bilateral defence - security cooperation – an important pillar of the Vietnam - China relations. - Party General Secretary To Lam on October 24 held a reception for Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul, who is on an official visit to Vietnam from October 22-25.

The Party chief said the Vietnam visit by Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul comes amid the strong growth of the relationship between the two countries, which recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties and are looking ahead to the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership in 2025. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underlined the importance of comprehensive and people-centred approaches to addressing current global issues, while speaking at the expanded BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, on October 24.

The Vietnamese leader noted that the world is entering an era of profound integration with the emergence of smart technology and innovation. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council, on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit in Kazan city of Russia on October 24.

PM emphasised Vietnam's high regard for the EEC's role in promoting the effective implementation of the Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement (VN-EAEU FTA). Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has affirmed Vietnam's commitment to fostering relations with traditional friends, including Uzbekistan, at his meeting with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Kazan, Russia, on October 24 (local time) on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit.

-Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with President of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko on the sidelines of the expanded BRICS Summit in Kazan city of Russia on October 24 afternoon (local time).
