- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam held a high-level meeting with President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Cambodian Senate Hun Sen, and General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith in Ho Chi Minh City on February 22.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Cambodian PM Hun Manet, and Lao PM Sonexay Siphandone were also present at the event. Read full story
- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 23 requested the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) to take the lead in training and research, and make every effort to successfully achieve the goal of entering the top 100 higher education institutions in Asia by 2030.
Attending a ceremony to celebrate the university’s 30th founding anniversary (January 27, 1995-2025), PM Chinh, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, presented the first-class Labour Order to the institution. Read full story
- A Lao delegation led by Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone visited Tan Cang - Cat Lai Port of the Saigon Newport Corporation under the Vietnam People’s Navy.

He attributed the result to the contributions of Vietnam's defence and security enterprises, particularly the Saigon Newport Corporation, which has organised many activities such as trade connection workshops with domestic and foreign businesses operating in Laos, and has mobilised means to transport Lao goods at Vung Ang Port. - Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and her Russian counterpart A. Rudenko co-chaired a political consultation in Hanoi on February 21.
In the spirit of sincerity, openness and trust, the officials reviewed the implementation and coordination to bring into full play the agreements reached by leaders of the two sides over the recent past, and discussed measures to enhance cooperation between the two foreign ministries, while comparing notes on international and regional issues of mutual concerns. - Localities in the Mekong Delta region have been striving to develop distinctive tourism products to turn the region into a prominent tourist area in Vietnam as designated in the national tourism master plan for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2045.
Accordingly, the delta focuses on developing tourism products by leveraging the strengths of the river ecosystem, natural landscapes, marine and island tourism resources, historical-cultural sites, and diverse traditional cultural values. Read full story
- The Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria coordinated with Bab Ezzouar Commercial Centre in Algiers, organised an event to introduce Vietnamese products to consumers in the North African country on February 22 (local time).
It drew a large number of visitors, mainly local residents and representatives of several Algerian import businesses. At the event, part of the embassy’s annual trade promotion activities, Algerian consumers had the opportunity to learn about Vietnamese coffee, listen to presentations about the coffee processing methods, and test the products on-site. - The People's Committee of Da Lat city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on February 22 organised a consultation seminar on the plan to implement commitments to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the Field of Music for the 2025–2027 period.
It attracted the participation of domestic and international experts and managers working in the fields of culture and arts who contributed initiatives, recommendations, orientations, and appropriate solutions for developing Da Lat as a city of music. Read full story
The Vietnamese Students’ Association in the Republic of Korea (VSAK) held a job fair at Seoul Cyber University on February 23, attracting nearly 500 Vietnamese students in the country.
The event, sponsored by the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, opened up job opportunities, and shared knowledge, experience, and career guidance for students. It also helped introduce high-quality human resources to enterprises and corporations in the host country. Read full story./.
