- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam on February 19 received Cuba's Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, who is on a three-day official visit to Vietnam.

At the reception, Lam affirmed Vietnam’s deep appreciation for Cuba’s solidarity and support and expressed his confidence that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Caribbean country will continue overcoming challenges and achieving new milestones in national construction and protection. - State President Luong Cuong hosted a reception for Ambassadors and Chargé d'Affaires of ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste in Hanoi on February 19, in which he said that Vietnam views the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as a strategic priority in its foreign policy, and Southeast Asian countries as close neighbours.

On behalf of the Ambassadors and Chargé d'Affaires of the ASEAN countries in Vietnam, Malaysian Ambassador Dato’ Tan Yang Thai, extended warm New Year greetings and best wishes to the Vietnamese State leader, expressed his hope that Vietnam will continue to be a successful development model in the region. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha in Hanoi on February 19, during which he urged Cambodia to continue granting citizenship to people of Vietnamese origin residing in Cambodia.

Vietnamese naval ship completes mission at Kakadu Exercise 2026

Ship 016–Quang Trung of Brigade 162 under Naval Region 4 departed Sydney Harbour on the morning of March 25 for home after successfully completing activities within the framework of the Exercise Kakadu Fleet Review 2026 marking the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy and the multilateral naval exercise Kakadu 2026.

95th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union marked in Laos
