- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with his French counterpart Francois Bayrou in Paris on June 10 afternoon (local time), after concluding his activities at the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 3) in Nice.

Welcoming the Vietnamese leader, PM Bayrou thanked Vietnam for its presence and contributions at the UNOC 3 through the initiatives and proposals stated in the speech and 15 voluntary commitments of the Vietnamese side. He emphasised that following the recent state visit to Vietnam by French President Emmanuel Macron, PM Chinh's ongoing visit is a clear demonstration that the relationship between the two countries has made substantial and effective development steps. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received National Secretary of the French Communist Party (PCF) Fabien Roussel in Paris on June 10 afternoon (local time), affirming that the Vietnamese Party and State highly value the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with France, with cooperation with the PCF being one of the traditional foundations.

- Vietnam pays heed to strengthening its multifaceted cooperation with France – its first and only comprehensive strategic partner in the European Union, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told President of the French National Assembly Yaël Braun-Pivet during their meeting in Paris on June 10 (local time).

- The official visit to Vietnam by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda from June 11 - 12 holds great significance, as it is the first-ever trip to Vietnam by a Lithuanian head of state in history, aiming to strengthen political ties and promote economic and trade relations, according to a diplomat.

Granting an interview to the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) ahead of the trip, Lithuanian Ambassador to Singapore and Vietnam Darius Gaidys shared that one of the visit's highlights is the Lithuania-Vietnam Business Forum held at Hanoi’s Melia Hotel, during which the Lithuanian President is scheduled to deliver an opening speech containing many meaningful messages. - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s upcoming official visit to Sweden marks a milestone in the long-standing and close relationship between the two countries, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Johan Ndisi told the press.

Viewing the visit as both an occasion to celebrate the historic friendship and a stepping stone to promote future cooperation, Sweden wants to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in key areas such as sustainable development, innovation and digital transformation, which are areas that Sweden has strengths and Vietnam is also developing strongly with great determination, Ndisi said.
