– National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai held talks with his Lao counterpart Sommad Pholsena in the central city of Da Nang on September 4, vowing to advance economic cooperation between their nations.
Hai congratulated the Lao people on their recent achievements and expressed confidence that under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the management of the Lao Government and the supervision of the legislature, Laos will successfully overcome challenges, maintain macro-economic stability and drive socio-economic recovery. – Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Albert Chua co-chaired the 16th Vietnam-Singapore political consultation in Singapore on September 4.
Both sides agreed that the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership is increasingly robust and effective across all areas, marked by regular high-level delegation exchanges and flourishing relations between the two ruling parties.
