NA Chairman meets voters in Ha Tinh

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung travelled to the central province of Ha Tinh on September 28 to inspect the Vung Ang Economic Zone and listen to the thoughts and proposals of voters there.

Chairman Hung said theGovernment has introduced measures that promote the progress ofindustrial and economic zones nationwide, including in Vung Ang, theindustrial hub of the northern central-region.

He met voters fromthe area who expressed their pleasure at the positive changes made tothe NA’s law-making and supervisory procedures.

They askedauthorities Ha Tinh province and Ky Anh district, which is home to theeconomic zone, to provide more vocational training, especially forlabourers working in industrial development. They also requested thatauthorities do more to improve the living conditions and job prospectsfor people living in resettlement areas.

The Chairman agreed thatKy Anh must pay more attention to site clearances and the resettlementof residents throughout construction developments in the district.-VNA
