NA Chairman to attend AIPA-43, pay official visits to Cambodia, Philippines
Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue will attend the 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) General Assembly and pay officials visits to Cambodia and the Philippines from November 19 – 25.

Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Huewill attend the 43rd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) General Assembly and payofficials visits to Cambodia and the Philippines from November 19-25.
The trips will be made at the invitation of President of the Cambodian NationalAssembly and AIPA-43 Chair Samdech Heng Samrin, and President of the Senate ofthe Philippines Juan Miguel Zubiri, according to the NA’s Committee of ExternalRelations./.
President of the 42nd General Assembly of AIPA Pehin Dato Abdul Rahman Taib, who is Speaker of the Legislative Council of Brunei Darussalam, lauds Vietnam’s initiative to host an AIPA General Assembly virtually for the first time in 2020, paving the way for the Legislative Council of Brunei Darussalam to host the 42nd AIPA General Assembly in a similar virtual format this year.
The visit by National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Laos from May 15-17 was a success, helping further foster the cooperative relations and mutual support between the two parliaments, and bolster the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive partnership between the two countries, according to Chairman of the NA Committee for External Relations Vu Hai Ha.
Vietnam suggested the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) continue promoting solidarity, unity, self-reliance and innovation to consolidate the 10-member grouping’s centrality in addressing regional issues.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of ASEAN member states attended Interfaces with representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), ASEAN Youth Organisation and ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on November 10.
