Hanoi (VNA) – The 28th session of theNational Assembly (NA) Standing Committee wrapped up on October 17 after threedays of sitting, reaching several decisions on a number of important issues.
Addressing the closing ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan asked theGovernment, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the NA’s Council forEthnic Affairs, NA committees, and the NA Secretary General to continue studyingand completing documents and reports to submit to the NA.
The agencies were also requested to finalise resolutions on personnel andadministrative units of Binh Phuoc province to submit for promulgation.
She stressed that relevant agencies should coordinate closely to examine andcomplete the contents as well as make preparations to ensure the NA’s sixth meetingwill open on October 22 and last for one month.
She noted that it was necessary for relevant agencies to promptlysubmit full and accurate documentation to ensure that NA deputies will have sufficienttime for in-depth research, as well as for preparing comments for the sixth meeting.–VNA
