National Assembly makes contributions to AIPA's development

Since September 19, 1995, the National Assembly of Vietnam has officially become a member of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Organization (AIPO), the predecessor of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA). The National Assembly of Vietnam has increasingly taken proactive and positive steps to contribute to the development of the regional inter-parliamentary organisation, supporting, assisting, and sharing experiences with new members in the process of joining AIPA.
