New technology plaza to enhance Vietnam-RoK cooperation

The Vietnam- Republic of Korea Win-Win Innotech Plaza opened in Hanoi on September 8.

The Innotech Plaza, run by the Korea Trade and InvestmentPromotion Agency (KOTRA), focuses on providing training courses,consultancy and supporting business foundations for Korean andVietnamese young people, and matching students of both countries withRoK companies.

The plaza also aims to formulate usefulmodels to strongly boost CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and CSV(Created Shared Value) for Korean enterprises invested in Vietnam bycombining the Korea International Cooperation Agency’s cooperationmindset with Vietnamese policies.

The RoK Government hasvalued Vietnam as a strategic partner and potential market, KOTRAHanoi Director General Lee Kyuseon said, adding that the new plaza willplay an active role in boosting further development between the twocountries.

To mark the event, a job fair wasorganised to offer information on vacancies and work requirements at RoKbusinesses in Vietnam.-VNA
