Agencies in Yemen have confirmed that no Vietnamese were killed in the terrorist attack on the Yemeni Defence Ministry Complex on December 5, according to the Vietnamese Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
The embassy responded on December 7 to reports that two Vietnamese doctors had died in the attack.
Director of the Yemeni Defence Ministry hospital, the site of the attack, also officially informed Yemeni authorities that no Vietnamese doctors or staff are employed by the hospital.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Saudi Arab is working with relevant Yemeni agencies to keep a close watch on the case.
