Nui Chua National Park - where marine biodiversity safeguarded

The marine reserve of Nui Chua National Park, the core of the Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve in Ninh Thuan province, houses 310 coral species belonging to 60 genera and 15 families of reef-building hard corals. Among them, there is one new genus (Scapophyllia) recorded for the western part of the East Sea, and 11 species recorded for the first time in Vietnam.
