Overwhelming Tet atmosphere at Hanoi flower markets
Visitors to Hanoi as Tet approaches simply must visit the capital’s famous flower markets to enjoy a bustling atmosphere and admire the splendid beauty of countless blooming flowers, which signal the coming of Spring.

Xuan Du commune in Nhu Thanh district is a well-known peach blossom area in the central province of Thanh Hoa. As the Lunar New Year, or Tet, approaches, local gardeners are busy taking care of their trees so they will bloom on time and welcome in Vietnam’s biggest holiday season.
National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will transport branches of peach blossoms and ochna flower as check-in baggage on its domestic flights from January 17 to February 15 (the 15th day of the new lunar year).
With the Lunar New Year holiday, or Tet, fast approaching, the Nhat Tan peach blossom village in Hanoi has become increasingly busy as many people come to snap beautiful photos or buy beautiful flowers for Tet.
