 Hanoi (VNA) – General Secretary of the CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong was awarded the 50-year Partymembership badge at a ceremony in Hanoi on January 29.

Tran Quoc Vuong, head of the CPV Central Committee’sInspection Commission, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat,presented the badge to the Party chief.

He described General Secretary Trong as a bright example forofficials and Party members to follow.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Party leader shared hisviewpoint on life-long learning, saying learning is to become a good person,not to gain higher positions.

He expressed his gratitude to the Party, State and peopleand pledged to be absolutely loyal to the Party’s revolutionary ideology andfollow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morals and lifestyle. -VNA

Vietnamese, Chinese Party communication bodies to maintain regular cooperation
