A respect-paying ceremony in the national mourning etiquette was solemnly held for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Funeral Hall in Hanoi, the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, and his hometown in Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi, on July 25.
Leaders of the United Nations (UN) and ambassadors of countries to the UN on July 24 paid tribute to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong at the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the UN in New York, the US.
The respect-paying ceremony of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong is organised in the national mourning etiquette at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, from 7 AM to 10 PM on July 25 and from 7 AM to 1 PM on July 26, 2024.
Throughout his revolutionary life and career, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong always demonstrated a profound dedication to the cause of national culture building and development. He was recognised as a great culturist, a shining example in cultural practice and a leader wholeheartedly dedicating to the advancement of Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.
