Trong highlighted the Lao ambassador’s contributions to enhancing thespecial solidarity between the two countries and extended hercongratulations to the ambassador over her election as a member of theLao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee at the ninth NationalParty Congress.

He expressed his hope that thediplomat will continue her contributions to the relationship betweenVietnam and Laos in her new position.

TheParty leader also spoke highly of outcomes of the recent officialfriendship visit by Lao Party General Secretary and PresidentChoummaly Sayasone.

He said he believes that theVietnam-Laos special ties will develop more intensively and practicallyfor prosperity of each country and for peace, stability, cooperation anddevelopment in the region and the world.

For herpart, the ambassador congratulated the Party, State and people ofVietnam on the achievements, saying she firmly believed that under thesound leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people will gain greatersuccess, fulfilling the target of becoming a modern industrialisednation by 2020.

She expressed her thanks for support from the Party, Sate and people of Vietnam for Laos during her tenure.

The Party, State and people of Laos will make every effort togetherwith Vietnam to preserve and develop the special solidarity betweenthe two countries, he said./.
